that this is a BLOG about cocktails and its culture. Purpose of this blog is to give you an idea and a description, whether the place is good or not from the point of you of a customer as well as bartender.
This blog should show you a way how to appreciate the bar, cocktails and its way of preparation, if you are a tourist or a visitor searching for a good place.
If you are a Bartender, Barmaid or Barmanager, you may find some useful informations about the VALUES of bartender´s job.
However, keep on mind, that this is a blog and only one person is writing it. There are many places i haven´t visited (yet) or I visited only once. My experience may be different from yours.

Biif Restaurant - Bergamo
I am sorry. This should be a blog about cocktails, however I need to mention this restaurant/steak house. I found it more/less randomly.
2 months ago I moved to a new flat and this place was just behind the corner. Every day I've been walking around and playing with the idea, that one day I will go in. It took me only two months and now I  can bring You the review.
I went inside alone and one of the waiters introduced me my table. It was in the middle of the place while nobody was sitting around, right in front of the bar. That has been a little bit uncomfortable, since there was 8 eyes staring at You, but only for a few seconds because as I said : nobody was sitting around, so the service was fast. As You are sitting there for a few seconds, You will be looking around and You will realize a few things. First of all, the place looks great. You will notice simple, continous design, only a necessary things on your table and a great decoration around the bar and a ´´kitchen´´ right next to the entrance with a walls made from glass, so You can see inside.
Waiter, who has been asigned to me, came to my table, gave me some snack and a glass of proseco and asked me, if I want menu in italian or english. After I said that i prefer english, he said a very famous sentense : ,,we are in Italy, You should speak italian. ´´ After hearing this,  I started to have my doubts about the place itself, because I find it extremely offensive, but this time I didn't leave the place (as I did few times before, because of that..) and I've got a menu in english.

I had problems to choose actually, because pretty much everything looked really good. Then the waiter came and asked, if I need a help. I had no idea what to choose, so I asked him what would he recommend to me. He answered that Scotish Golden beef is great, he introduced me that with a little more details and I ordered it. In meanwhile I've ordered some dark beer (which by my opinion matches to steak verrrry well) and I've got a 3 slices of pizza, before the steak is going to be ready.
Then You will recieve your food, and then You will get an additional small table for a hot ´´pan.´´ This is for the rest of your steak, in case it will become too cold, but be careful, because if You will leave it there for too long, your steak will become ´´well done.´´ To be honest, I have never been in a good steak house ever before, so I don't know if this is a standard or something extra or an ´´excuse,´´ but me personally – I find it really cool and I love it!
Then the food itself…. It has been a symphony. Amazing steak, simple plate, served simply with potatoes. Just becareful and do not take Tiramisu as a desert. It's amazing, creamy and yet not too sweet. Taste is ballanced and wonderful. But after a big big steak I had, this was too much. As I am writing this review from my bed 2 hours after, I still regret my decision, so if You will go here one day, make sure, that You will take something smaller. But make sure, You are not going to miss this place either.
