12.9.2013 Ibiza
Ibiza is a very famous island for huge and insane
parties. Thanks to tourism You will meet more people from Germany, Ireland and
Italy, than people from Éspain. Thanks to the size of this island, You can go
pretty much whetever You want. Don't be scared to travel to the opposite side of
the island, because it is only up to 45mins by bus. And there are buses from
everywhere to everywhere…. It depends on your budget. Lots of people are
standing for the opinion, that the best idea is to rent a car and as You
travel across the island, You stop whetever You want, which has to be great.
With my friend we had a bit different idea… We will try to save as much money
as possible on traveling and accomodation to have as much money as
possible for parties, because Ibiza is the island of rule ´´GO BIG,
OR GO HOME!´´
This part is written after my lucky and happy return
to Italy. Explanation lower...
This time I didn't travel alone, but I combined my
powers with my really good friend, traveler and actually owner of a
traveling blog http://adventureriddim.republika.pl Jacek Deresinski. It's been a
pleasure, to try to travel with one more person, especially because
he has completely different opinions from me. When I say,
that I like something, he doesn't like it at all. But I still like to travel
with him, because thanks to these differences, we could have super long,
amazing and interesting conversations just about anything. We splitted our
duties, so he was the one taking (very good) care of accomodation and flights
and I was taking care of parties and where to go.
We were staying in a the hostel in actual Ibiza
town. It was located pretty much in the city centre. Of course, You
can find an accomodation closer to the discos and parties, but the price
is going to be much, much different…
We had only 2 and a half days there, so
obviously I don't know any other hostels but if You don't want to pay a lot, go
here. 35eur for 2 nights/person is in Ibiza insanely rare. After all, You don't
stay in there, You just take only as necessary sleep as possible and then You
go out again.
When we arrived to
the hostel, we met some people and, of course, I asked about some places
which I wanted to visit. After some further tips how to get there, we settled
our plan in following order. We will go to the city (Ibiza town), then on a
beach and then to the Ushuaia club tonight. Tomorrow we will go to Café
del Mar in Sant Antonio and Privillege club in Sant Rafael on way back
from Café del Mar and then the next day, before we will leave, we will
visit hippie market in San Carlos, where Jacek wanted to go.
First two parts were ok. We went to the city center,
Castle and then on a beach…. On a beach our plan became more complicated,
because we saw a ship called Beatiful People and we got an offer for
joining the party on board…. Actually, now I have to stop at this point, to
explain to You these offers.:
...Basically, parties on Ibiza are starting at noon +/- (up to 04:00 or even 07:00 a.m. )and
You can get the entrance tickets all around.. from the official stores and from
some guys, selling them on the streets. And I can guarantee You, that if You
will meet 10 people, at least 4 of them will try to sell You some. After
these three days, I don't even want to hear this word anymore! – Actually, it's
quite cool to meet them, as I said at the beginning, You can go from one party
straight to another one. Your only one limit is your budget....
Yeah, so this guy
from the boat offered us this : 75Eur entrance, trip to Formentera island and
on the way there, some stops to enjoy the sea, while all the drinks are for
free as well as the food and jetski. Let's say not for free, but included.
From one of my collegues I've heard about that, and we decided to go there. So our plan changed a bit. Today
Ushuaia and Café Del Mar, tomorrow boat party and Privilege club.
