Gin Sapphire Bar
Café Del Mar is actually at the other side of the
island. We had to hurry up, because we heard that this place is super cool
during the sunset. As fast as we could, we went towards the Ushuaia club to get
the tickets for the same night and straight after, we took the bus to
the Ibiza town and from there, we went right into the Sant Antonio. I didn't
really expected, that we will be there in 30 minutes +/- so we had enough time
to walk through the city, get lost and get found back again, thanks to some guy
who showed us the right direction to the coast.
The coast is basically one large bar, divided into 4
or 5 actual bars. All of them have more/less the same price and absolutely
fantastic view to the bay. It's a pitty, that right in the middle of the bay ,
there was some army ship so huge, that even if You would walk all around this
bay, you wouldn't see the sunset. I hope, that when You will arrive here, this
dark-green monster won't be there anymore.
Quite disgusted, we took a seat in the Gin sapphire cocktail
bar(?) at the other side of the street from Café del Mar, because this bar
is opening a bit earlier. I took Mojito, which was more less fine and as a big
fun of Mai-Tai my heart applauded, as well as my eyes, when I was reading
this name in the cocktail menu. Unfortunately, the recipe contains so big
amount of amaretto, that the actual taste of rum is completely covered by this liqueur. My collegue and friend Jacek
tried Bloody Marry and in his case I have to say, that Bloody Mary was a
good choice. As well as premium burger for dinner. That food was amazing.
We were talking a
bit, watching very beautiful sunset behind very ugly ship and after a while it
was the time to try the only and the famous - Café Del Mar.
