Ushuaia club
As we were getting back to the bus station in Sant
Antonio, we could see our bus leaving. And as it was getting late, it was
essential for us to catch this one, because it was going to the Ibiza Bus
Station in the middle of the city and Ushuaia is pretty far from that place,
so we would be forced to take another bus from there.
Fortunately, we didnt get that bus. I am saying fortunately, because we stayed
at the bus station to decide, what we will have to do now and 5 minutes
after, the Disco Bus came and took us straight to the Ushuaia club.
Ushuaia is a very modern and new dance club. Very
beautiful inside with some swimming pools in the heart of it, under open sky
and four or five pedestals for
proffesional dancers in the main dancing part. It has three parties in a row
and the fourth one is some kind of closing party. We were lucky enough, that we
came there on one of these closing parties. It was called ´´Used and Abused.´´
The important thing is, that the club is not that big actually, but it was totaly
and completely full of people. My guess is, that this night - there was at
least 4500 people. We came there for Carl Cox and this DJ was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
If You want to enjoy this dance club more, try to get
as close to the podium, as You can. In the back, there are a lot of people just
walknig around and it's just one big meat
grinder. But in the front, there are all the people actually dancing, so there
is a more space and more ´´life.´´ We were lucky enough to get up the stairs
and completely to the front barriers, like 2 meters from the DJ, closer
could be only the VIP´S and photographers. Honestly, we were very close and if
You will be lucky and You will get there as well, You can be damn sure, that
You will enjoy this party.
As we were dancing a lot and meeting very big amount
of a very nice/drunk, people/girls we got thirsty. For these occacions You have
two bars – one at each side of the club, not serving any cocktails. Only the
typical ´´mixes´´ as
redbull and vodka, rum and coke and so on. I think, that it's actually
understandable - considering
the endless queue from both sides at both bars, there is simply no time for
anything else.
Even if I am not a
really big fun of these parties and disco/dance music, after a while I was
enjoying it. The volume and the atmosphere is so massive, that your
entrails are vibrating, like they want to leave your body and your head will be
automatically swinging into the rythm. And then Carl Cox will make some great
drop and BHAAAM and there are some confetti flying all around, people in
the front are covered in a steam and everybody is screaming and ´´hands up
people!!!!´´ and You are trapped too….
Leaving this party
was almost as difficult as getting to the first rows. Not because of people,
but because You simply don't want to leave. But don't worry, there are plenty
of other discos, just getting to the best times. All You have to do, is to make
a choice. Tickets are everywhere. If
You are not feeling like You want to dance anymore, You can just walk to the
city center. On the main route there is bar after bar, so You can stay for one
more drink (or six, like in our case). The differences in between these bars
are huge. One is a chinese restaurant/bar serving sushi, other one is an mexican
fast food and if You will enter the next one and You will go downstairs, You
can find live rock music band.. And everywhere are tickets for everything. We
came back to the hostel around 03:00 a.m. (which is quite early in comparison
of Ibiza´s average). But we couldn't wait for the next day already, because
there was our boat party planned!
